We made our annual trip to the Center of Puppetry Arts to see Rudolph. Prior to the show, we made hand puppets.
We have been working on our Pueblo village. The Pueblo nations were found in the Southwest. This nation farmed and later raised sheep. Corn was an important crop. Their clothes were made from cotton. The Pueblos are still known for their turquoise jewelry and beautiful clay pots.
Notice the mesas (flat topped hills) in the background. The doors were on top of the pueblos and the ladders were pulled up if there was any danger.
Have fun tracking Santa on Christmas Eve. There are also some games and videos.
(This is one of Amelia’s favorite family traditions.)
